ARGV / LEGAL
Terms & Conditions
Effective:
The terms for using ARGV, your project content, and AI-assisted engineering work.
1. About ARGV
These Terms govern your use of ARGV at argv.app and its associated service. ARGV is an AI engineering intelligence and orchestration platform: it maintains project understanding and prepares contextual engineering work for use with coding assistants. It does not replace your engineering judgment or the tools that execute that work. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into an agreement to use ARGV. If you use it for an organization, you must have authority to do so. Provide accurate account information and protect access to your account.
Microsoft is currently the sign-in provider. Its authentication service is subject to its own terms. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and should report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
3. Use of the service
You may use ARGV for lawful engineering work, subject to these Terms and the access and limits shown in the service. Available capabilities include project context and memory, Task Packs, generation history, usage visibility, and project sharing. Features described as planned, illustrative, or coming soon are not commitments that they are available now or will be delivered on a particular date.
4. Projects and user content
You retain your rights in the content you provide, including project context, architecture, rules, task instructions, and other engineering material. You give ARGV permission to store, process, and display that content as necessary to provide and operate the service, including sharing with members you authorize and processing through providers you select.
Only submit material you have permission to use. Do not include secrets, credentials, or personal information that is unnecessary for the task. You are responsible for the permissions you grant and for keeping your own copies of important work.
5. AI-generated output
AI-generated instructions, Task Packs, and agent-produced engineering work may be incomplete, inaccurate, insecure, or similar to output provided to others. ARGV does not guarantee correctness, originality, fitness for a particular purpose, or successful execution.
You remain responsible for reviewing and testing generated or agent-produced work, checking licenses and dependencies, validating acceptance criteria, and deciding whether changes are safe to use. Validation guidance and recorded history do not replace those checks.
6. Third-party AI, tools, and integrations
Depending on your configuration and actions, work may involve external AI providers, Cursor, Codex, or other engineering tools. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for the accounts, credentials, permissions, and provider charges you authorize. ARGV does not control third-party availability, output, or data handling. A product illustration of a connection does not mean a direct integration is shipped.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use ARGV to:
- Break the law or infringe another person’s privacy or intellectual property.
- Access another user’s projects or accounts without permission.
- Distribute malicious code, abuse credentials, or attack the service.
- Bypass access controls, usage limits, or safety protections.
- Disrupt the service or misrepresent generated work as independently verified.
Authorized security and engineering work must respect the permissions of the systems involved.
8. Intellectual property
ARGV and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, design, and branding. These Terms give you permission to use the service, not ownership of it. Rights in your content remain yours. Rights in AI output may depend on applicable law, provider terms, and third-party material; ARGV does not promise exclusive rights to that output.
9. Plans, trials, and billing
The public site describes Free Trial, Pro, and Business plan intentions. Final paid pricing and checkout are not currently available. Applicable trial allowances and generation access are shown in the workspace; these Terms do not set fixed quotas.
If paid plans become available, prices, payment terms, renewal conditions, and cancellation information will be presented before purchase. External AI providers may charge separately under your configuration. Do not assume that an ARGV trial covers charges from your own provider account.
10. Business and team accounts
Project owners are responsible for authorizing sharing and selecting appropriate member roles. Members must follow their organization’s rules and these Terms. Current sharing supports registered users; expanded Business administration and organization-wide capabilities are planned. If a separate written customer agreement is signed, it governs the subjects it expressly addresses where it conflicts with these Terms.
11. Service availability and changes
ARGV may change as it develops. Maintenance, technical failures, provider issues, or security work may interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted service or a particular uptime level under these Terms. Keep copies of important material outside the service. Any service-level commitments must be stated in a separate written agreement.
12. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and AI output are provided as available, without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms removes warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ARGV is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business opportunities, arising from use of the service or reliance on AI output. This does not exclude or limit liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit, including applicable mandatory consumer rights. Any separately agreed liability terms must be stated in a written customer agreement.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using ARGV at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, unauthorized activity, security risk, or legal requirement. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the restriction and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Suspension or termination may affect access to project content. Data handling after access ends is described in the Privacy Policy’s retention section; stopping use does not by itself guarantee immediate deletion of every record.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms and will publish the revised version with its effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice through the service or an available account contact where appropriate, and obtain agreement where required by law. Changes do not remove rights you already have under mandatory law.
16. Governing law and contact
These Terms are subject to applicable law. No provision requires you to give up mandatory protections or access to courts that applicable law gives you.
Operator and policy contact details will be published here before commercial launch.
17. Effective date
These Terms take effect on 13 September 2026.
